Trustpoint.one has partnered with a leading NYC law firm in their search for an Attorney with bankruptcy experience to represents debtors, creditors, DIP Lenders, landlords and buyers and sellers of distressed assets in bankruptcy and out of court proceedings. The ideal Bankruptcy Attorney will have 3-5 years of experience in the following areas:
Experience in commercial lending and insolvency related litigation including fraudulent conveyance, director and officer liability, preference and other commercial disputes involving financially distressed businesses
Ability to draft and respond to chapter 11 “First Day” filings
Secured lender experience in commercial lending, DIP financing and Article 9 issues
The qualified Bankruptcy Attorney will have 3 to 5 years of bankruptcy and corporate and real estate restructuring experience and must be admitted, in good standing, to the New York Bar. New Jersey admission is preferred but not required. Strong writing skills and a confident, mature presence and speaking ability are a must for this role.
