Global entertainment industry leader, with midtown NYC offices, is seeking an Attorney with strong Advertising Contracts experience for a one+ month project.  The Contracts Attorney will have the opportunity to draft, negotiate and oversee a wide array of contracts including digital and linear advertising sales, advertising technology, data collection and use, integrated marketing, research and analytics, branded and custom content, promotions and sponsorships, contests and sweepstakes, influencer marketing, out-of-home sales, programmatic, NDAs and venue agreements. Other duties will include:

 

  • Providing analysis and advice regarding advertising law compliance, including compliance with FCC and FTC guidelines
  • Provide counsel to various teams within the organization
  • Supervise work of department paralegals and administrative assistant

 

The qualified Contracts Attorney must have at least 10 years of experience handling the drafting and negotiating of contracts, from either a corporate legal department or large law firm.  Experience with advertising and media contracts is required.  Strong knowledge of advertising compliance, particularly FTC and FCC guidelines, is also required.  Working knowledge of data security, privacy and social media is a strong plus. All Contracts Attorneys must be admitted, in good standing, to the New York Bar or be registered as in-house counsel in New York.
