Trustpoint.One has partnered with a well-respected Miami boutique law firm in their search for a bankruptcy paralegal with at least 3 years of experience handling Chapter 11 bankruptcies. The successful candidate must be able to work independently with fast-paced cases and possess the following experience:
- Bankruptcy litigation matters involving several adversaries and taking the case from filing writs of garnishments, to foreclosures, through litigation, and settlement
- Trustee work
- Creditor committee work
- Creating and filing fee applications
- Working with assignees in Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors
- Working with the representation of large creditors in both Chapter 7 and 11 matters
Experience with bankruptcy appellate work and knowledge in creating and filing bankruptcy schedules would be a plus but is not mandatory.
