
Description
Trustpoint One is assisting a civil litigation law firm in its search for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Conflicts Attorney to support our conflicts and new business intake team in our Washington, D.C. office. This is a temporary, hybrid position with a combination of remote work and on-site presence required at the firm’s office in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and review conflict check reports for new matters, lateral hires, and firm mergers.
- Conduct thorough research using internal and external databases to identify and resolve potential conflicts of interest.
- Draft and revise conflict waivers, consent letters, and engagement documentation as needed.
- Collaborate with attorneys, compliance staff, and practice groups to gather information for conflict resolution.
- Ensure timely and accurate responses to conflict inquiries in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist in special projects and audits related to risk management and compliance.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school; active bar admission preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in conflicts or legal risk management, preferably in a large law firm setting.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with conflicts databases and business intake systems (e.g., Intapp).
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and handle confidential information.
All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time.
