Contracts Attorney

Trustpoint.one has partnered with a leading, cutting-edge corporation in their search for an experienced Contracts Attorney to join their team on a long-term (6 months) project basis. This position will provide support to the in-house legal team and work with the company’s outside counsel, a top-ranked AmLaw 100 law firm. The Contracts Attorney will be responsible for duties that include:
- Drafting and negotiating a broad array of commercial agreements including: MSA’s, vendor and supplier agreements, NDA’s, employment agreements and more
- Identify and rectify potential risk
- Preparation of presentations as required for special projects requested by management
- Ability to supervise outside counsel on litigation matters and legal budgets
- Additional duties as required
The qualified Contracts Attorney will have 5+ years of experience working with commercial contracts and agreements, including strong negotiation skills. A blend of both large law firm and in-house legal department experience is highly preferred. Strong experience negotiating vendor contracts and supplier agreements is required. Any exposure to working with a start-up organization is also a plus. Position is hybrid in nature, with some days required on-site in Northern New Jersey offices. Membership to the New Jersey Bar is required; additional Membership to the New York Bar is a large plus.
