Trustpoint.one is pleased to partner with a well-known and respected national company, with offices in Dover, Delaware, in their search for a temp-to-perm Corporate Legal Assistant to join their team in a remote capacity.

Corporate Legal Assistant Responsibilities:

 -             Assist in pulling reports from Compliance tool.

-             Audit/Research States and add fiscal projection for annual reports that need estimate for annual

budget.

-             Email/mail Compliance Calendar yearly to client to confirm information and obtain updated

information to file annual reports for upcoming year.

-             Maintain UCS Annual Report Due date chart.

-             Conduct research to see if representation is split between company and another service provider.  Assist in auditing top representation clients to make any necessary changes to mailing, legal or billing.

-             Assist in uncovering loss representation.  Compare State’s records to company representation list and contact and bill client accordingly.

-             Assist with change of agent process.   Conduct audit in all states to verify if entities are active and in good standing.  Create excel chart with information.

-             Work with fulfilment to have change of agents prepared and forward to client for signature.

-             Change of Agent with Annual Report Services-Assist in drafting proposal and expectation of

compliance package.  Do all procedures as outline in change of agent process.

-             Maintain and organize all tax notices that Joey is tax contact for.

-             Assist in filing annual reports and billing out projects.  Uploading receipts to Divvy.

-             Maintaining annual report client online folder with worksheet and filing evidence.

-             Assist in developing workflow process to streamline annual report filing process.

Qualifications:

-             Bachelor’s Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved course is preferred

-             Strong familiarity with MS Word, Excel and excellent research skills

-             Top-notch communication and confidentiality skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced

and busy office.
