Trustpoint.One is leading a search for a prestigious national law firm looking for a Corporate Paralegal to join its Milwaukee office.  This is an exceptional paralegal opportunity involving interaction with clients, vendors, outside counsel, experts, and lawyers and staff in other national offices.  Our client is offering a competitive compensation package to top paralegals seeking a critical role in the firm they are a part of.

Desired skills and experience include:

  • Effective oral and written communications
  • At least five years of related paralegal experience required, ABA-approved paralegal degree preferred
  • High level of comfort with technology and legal research
  • Experience conducting due diligence reviews and obtaining documents from various governmental agencies
  • Performs due diligence including UCC and litigation searches, provides analysis of results
  • Assists with closings and general corporate matters, including but not limited to lien searches, public filings, and related research
  • Drafts corporate-related documentation and correspondence for the assigning attorney
  • Interacts directly with clients; inspires confidence and is capable of dealing with clients in difficult situations
  • Assists with preparation of documentation for amendments, withdrawals, mergers, and dissolutions of corporations, partnerships, and/or limited liability companies
  • Assist with various corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with key contacts with governmental authorities
  • The ability to manage and coordinate competing deadlines, due diligence, and other important transaction dates
  • Attention to detail, ability to plan and take initiative and accomplish tasks promptly
  • Thrive within a team-driven environment, prioritize assignments, and delegate when necessary
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed and flexibility to travel as needed
