Data Privacy Consultant

Trustpoint.One has partnered with a leader in the eDiscovery space in their search for Data Privacy Consultant. This 3+ month contract assignment is a unique opportunity to support a wide variety of clients. The duties of the Data Privacy Consultant will include:
- Data protection agreement negotiations
- Vendor assessment due diligence questionnaire reviews
- Data subject request response
- Deploy and oversee client initiatives to project completion
- Standard operating procedure drafting
The qualified Data Privacy will have Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of experience, ideally from a large law firm or corporation. Must have advanced knowledge of and strong experience with US privacy laws such as HIPAA, GDPR and/or CCPA. Experience working with business-related contracts such as technology, real estate leases, vendor, supplier and more agreements is a requirement. Certification in CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPP/A is a plus. The hourly rate for this role will be up to $45 per hour, depending on experience.
