Trustpoint.One is partnering with a boutique litigation firm in Newark, NJ, seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to a newly joining partner and assist with the firm’s expanding litigation practice.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that values initiative, professionalism, and precision. The Executive Assistant will play a key role in managing a wide range of administrative and case management responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have at least three years of litigation experience and a strong ability to anticipate needs, stay organized, and communicate effectively.

This boutique firm focuses on personal injury, mass torts, and commercial litigation. The attorneys are known for their strong advocacy, commitment to client success, and collaborative team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated administrative and litigation support to a partner and team of attorneys.

  • Manage complex calendaring, including depositions, hearings, and internal/external meetings.

  • Prepare and file pleadings, discovery responses, and exhibits in both state and federal courts.

  • Handle time entry, billing, expense reports, and travel arrangements.

  • Conduct conflict checks and maintain accurate case and client records.

  • Draft, edit, and proofread legal correspondence and documents with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Manage document organization, electronic filing systems, and eFiling processes.

  • Communicate with clients and assist with day-to-day operations of the litigation practice.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of litigation support experience in a law firm environment.

  • Strong knowledge of state and federal eFiling requirements.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and legal document management software.

  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Professional, discreet, and capable of handling confidential information with care.

All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time. Infrequent lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds.

Salary: Competitive with market and commensurate with experience, $60k-80k
