Trustpoint.One is proud to have partnered with a leading Fortune 500 company, with Delaware headquarters, in their search for an Intellectual Property Legal Assistant who can begin work ASAP. This is long-term contract position (5+ months) will be an integral part of the IP Legal team and will play a critical role in managing and coordinating a variety of IP-related administrative services. The Intellectual Property Legal Assistant will be responsible for duties that will include:
- Preparation of documents to be filed in both US and international patent offices
- Handling research, data retrieval and legal correspondence
- Docketing management and management of IP specific data
- Assist Attorneys and Patent Agents with the preparation of a variety of reports
- Additional duties as required
The qualified Intellectual Property Legal Assistant will have at least 2 years of experience working with Intellectual Property matters and their related databases, including USPTO, Private PAIR, PCT/EPO and docketing systems such as Memotech. Top-notch attention to detail and strong computer skills are key for this position. Experience with patent sequence listings is a plus. The ideal candidate live within driving distance of Wilmington, Delaware for periodic, as-needed office visits.
