Trustpoint.One is pleased to be assisting a national full service firm with its search for an Intellectual Property Legal Assistant with 3-5 years of patents and trademark experience. Experience in patent preparation and prosecution is preferred. Responsibilities to include maintaining, updating and organizing patent and trademark files and preparing paperwork for patent and trademark applications, managing assigned attorneys’ calendars, dockets and appointments, managing correspondence to prevent loss of IP rights and to assure accurate and timely workflow, managing attorneys’ time entry and billing and providing back-up support to other legal assistants.
IP Legal Assistant candidates must have experience with CPI, ProLaw, and electronic filing on the USPTO website, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and related software applications in addition to excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
Salary is $60K-$65K, commensurate with experience.
