Trustpoint.One is hiring law school graduates (no active license required) for our law firm client in Richmond, Virginia for an upcoming 3-month contract job opportunity starting on Tuesday, July 13th. The firm has let us know that there will be conversion eligibility to permanent hire status for top performers after the 3-month contract period has ended. The hourly pay rate will be $23.00 per hour and this assignment is a 40 hour per week assignment with an 8:30am-5:00pm (Monday to Friday) daily work schedule. Approved candidates will need to be able to go to the law firm office in downtown Richmond on either Friday, July 9th, or Monday, July 12th to pick up the computer that they will be using to work remotely from home. Starting on July 13th, the daily work and initial job training will be conducted remotely. 

Longer term, the firm may transition employees back to the law firm office if/when appropriate from a COVID protocol related standpoint (this is TBD). Note that prior law firm experience is not required for consideration.

The firm will be looking to hire candidates who reside in Central Virginia who are able to work on firm supplied computer equipment that will need to be picked up before the start date after a formal offer has been extended. Most importantly, the candidates will need to be local so a possible transition to in office work in Richmond, at some point in the future, can be done seamlessly without any relocation and workflow disruption concerns.

The job responsibilities and skills required may include the following:

The candidate is responsible for complex review of settlement agreement applications and other related documents in order to evaluate and assign values to legal claims while maintaining the integrity of data with tasks including data entry and related duties to ensure excellent client service.

Other duties and responsibilities may include:

  • Review legal documents and apply completeness criteria to determine completeness of required documentation.
  • Perform regular quality control of client databases through secondary review of legal documents.
  • Data entry of information in order to generate correspondence and reports
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned by firm management.
