Trustpoint.One is hiring a Litigation Attorney who is client focused, organized, and has a team-oriented approach.

We are helping our client find a specialized Construction Defense & Insurance Defense attorneys for Full Time positions. All candidates preferably have a minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience, the ability to work in-person in Florida, and are barred in Florida.

Essential Job responsibilities:

  • The associate position will handle Construction Defect, General Liability, Auto, Premises, Personal Injury and Wrongful Death matters.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a diverse range of agreements, and manage all aspects of litigation from the pleading phase to trial.
  • Attending Mediations.
  • Take depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts.
  • Interface with clients about discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and other case-related work.
  • Perform legal research on a wide range of legal matters.
  • Make court appearances, attend hearings, and depositions.
  • Report to clients and comply with all relevant guidelines.

Required:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA).
  • State bar certification in Florida.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Litigation.
  • Extremely detail oriented with ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • High degree of responsiveness.
  • Advanced written communication.
  • The candidate may also have a background from the state attorney or public defender’s office wishing to move into the civil litigation field.
  • Ability to work independently and personal accountability for work and your work product
  • Internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas and develop new skills
  • Demonstrate strong project and priorities management, and
  • Ability to collaborate.

Preferred:

  • Court Room Experience.
  • Experience conducting and defending depositions.
  • Experience with motion drafting.
  • Experience with propounding and responding to written discovery.
  • Experience with client relations.
  • Hourly Billing experience.
  • Motivated, self-driven, creative, problem solver with a passion for litigation and an attention for detail.

Salary is commensurate with industry knowledge and experience.
