Description
Trustpoint is excited to partner with an Am Law 200 law firm in their search of a Litigation Legal Assistant on a direct hire basis. This onsite role will be based out of the firm's Naples office and will support labor and employment litigation matters. Successful candidates will have 3-5 years of experience in litigation, previous experience in a labor and employment practice group is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, proofread, edit and finalize various legal documentation and correspondence
- Support and conduct case management, adhering to firm guidelines and procedures
- Communicate with EEOC and DOL
- E-filing in state, federal and appellate courts
- Attorney calendar management; schedule meetings and conferences, and time entry
- Update electronic records, upload documents, and run reports
- Case file maintenance and management
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years' experience supporting litigation matters
- 1+ years of Labor and employment experience (strongly preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Professional and MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with a high attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing deadlines or projects
- All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time
