Trustpoint.One has partnered with a nationally recognized plaintiffs’ litigation firm in Philadelphia to add Legal Assistants / Paralegals to two of the firm’s busiest practice groups.  This position will work very closely with attorneys on litigation matters and must be in the office in Center City three times every week after a short probationary period.  Duties include case management through all phases of litigation, including but not limited to the following:

  • Drafting pleadings
  • Facilitating and drafting discovery requests and responses
  • E-filing
  • Conducting legal research
  • Assisting with trial preparation and attending trials, etc.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of medical malpractice and/or personal injury litigation experience.
  • Sexual abuse litigation experience is a plus.
  • Prior experience with the Philadelphia court system is essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are critical.
  • Time management and multi-tasking skills are required.
  • Candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team in this fast past environment and be able to work with minimal guidance and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks.
  • BA/BS a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS office applications required.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written communication skills.

Salary range: Starting at $60,000 and up, depending on experience.
