Trustpoint.One has joined forces with a well-known and respected NYC business law firm in their search for a Marketing Assistant to support the firm’s Marketing department.  Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assisting in maintaining and updating the firm’s website and blogs, which includes coordinating updates to attorney bios and practice area profiles and other pages within the website, as well as press releases, client alerts, news items, publishing new attorney bios, and updating homepage and specific webpage spotlights.
  • Managing e-blast databases maintained for attorney mailing lists and website sign-up lists.
  • Responsible for sending client alerts, press releases, holiday e-cards to specific lists and practice group newsletters.
  • Managing firm’s social media, LinkedIn and Twitter, by posting news items, press releases, social events with related links and images. Creating and implementing a social media calendar.
  • Working with attorneys on PowerPoint design for webinar and conference events.
  • Assisting in supporting client events and/or conferences including onsite event management, managing RSVP lists and other support as needed.
  • Assisting with preparation and collection of information for submissions to legal ranking publications (Chambers, Legal500, Best Law Firm survey, Law360 survey, ALM survey and others as assigned).
  • Assisting with client pitch preparations and RFP responses, which includes collecting information from attorneys, creating and maintaining marketing lists, editing, formatting, and proofreading client pitches.
  • Updating and maintaining attorney profiles on Chambers, Legal500, Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, Avvo and similar.
  • Providing administrative support to the department and assisting or managing various business development initiatives as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree and up to three years of experience in a law firm setting strongly preferred.
  • Must be team-oriented, self-motivated and have the ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with a service-oriented attitude.
  • Strong knowledge of social media (esp. LinkedIn and Twitter).
  • Knowledge of iContact and MailChimp email management systems.
  • General understanding of website content management systems and SEO.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent proofreading skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Resourceful with ability to juggle multiple assignments and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to exercise discretion, good judgment, flexibility and maintain confidential information at all times.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and Canva.
  • Basic administrative support skills.
