Trustpoint.One has partnered with our client, a highly respected Metro Detroit corporation, in their search for a Corporate Counsel. This an exciting opportunity with definite growth potential – the corporate counsel will handle a variety of commercial transactional matters. The corporate counsel role will hold responsibilities that will include drafting/negotiating commercial transactions; drafting of finance, secured loan, and other related documents; review of contracts; providing counsel and oversight throughout process; and additional support to General Counsel
Qualifications:
6+ years’ experience with commercial transactions, in either a law firm or corporate setting required
Experience in secured transactions is expected
Prior background with asset-based lending is highly preferred
Ability to work with all levels of management, with confidence
