Trustpoint.One is seeking Staff Attorney to support the private funds group of one of our clients, an AmLaw 100 law firm, with offices located in Midtown, NYC. The Private Funds Staff Attorney must have some fund or investment management experience and will be responsible for duties that will include:
- Review of organizational documents, such as the limited partnership agreement and any letter agreements entered into between the private equity fund and an investor.
- Negotiation of various agreements
- Tracking of subscription documents and management of that process
- Handling all post-closing deal-related work
- Client contact
The Private Equity Staff Attorney will have some experience working at a fund or investment management company. Admission, in good standing, to the New York State Bar is required. Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously is also required.
