Trustpoint.One is hiring a Temporary Corporate Investment Funds Attorney who is client focused, organized, and has a team-oriented approach.

A Corporate Investment Funds Attorney advises fund sponsors and investment managers on fund formations and the structuring of separately managed account vehicles, secondary transactions, portfolio investments, and matters relating to fund governance and issues of state corporate and partnership law.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Structuring, formation, and governance of, and investment in, US domestic and international private investment funds in all asset classes.
  • Work with real estate funds, private equity funds, funds sponsored or seeded by 501(c)(3) entities, corporate governance funds, venture capital funds, hedge funds, and hybrid funds.
  • Represent US domestic and foreign institutional investors (including government pension plans, ERISA plans, foundations, and investment managers and their advisers).

Requirements

  • 4+ years’ experience in investment funds;
  • Bar admission in good standing in a jurisdiction where client maintains an office;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and individuals;
  • Superior organizational skills with an acute attention to detail;
  • Ability to work well in a team oriented environment and delegate tasks;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems and the Microsoft Suite of products; as well as
  • Effective and efficient problem solving capabilities, with the ability to work independently and proactively and to develop creative solutions to meet client and team needs.

 NOTE: 
Salary is commensurate with industry knowledge and experience.  Client offers a remote work schedule to provide greater flexibility.
