We are helping our client find a Junior Workers’ Comp Defense Attorney to join their Jacksonville, FL office.  This firm is known for its warm, caring, and nurturing workplace culture, according to its associates. The firm is considered young, approachable, and like a family. Their associates appreciate the low-pressure environment and the opportunity to work in small teams that encourage open communication. Partners' doors are always open, and the associates receive mentoring from their supervising partners and senior associates. Even new associates get to handle their cases early in their careers, with the backup of a senior attorney.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to Florida Bar.
• 1+ years of relevant Workers’ Comp Defense experience.
• Exposure to maritime law is a big plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office and Legal Practice Software.

Salary is commensurate with industry knowledge and experience.
