Trustpoint.One is recruiting a Legal Counsel who is client-focused, organized and has a team-oriented approach.  This is a hybrid position and applicants must be able to commute to the company’s office in Hoboken, NJ.

Requirements

  • D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar license in any US state.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of legal experience, including time spent working in an in-house legal department.
  • Two+ years of relevant work experience focused on the negotiation of SaaS transactions.
  • Experience with public sector/government contracting is preferred, but not required.
  • Familiarity with privacy and data protection laws/issues.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality; precision in drafting and communication.
  • Ability to uphold standards of complete discretion, confidentiality, ethics and fair/proper behavior.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the negotiation of outbound sales transactions between company and its customers and business partners.
  • Interact with company departments and colleagues to provide legal services on various matters.
  • Collaborate with Information Security and Compliance teams on data privacy/security initiatives/issues.
