Trustpoint.One has partnered with a small boutique personal injury firm in Northern Kentucky that is seeking a Workers’ Comp Attorney with 1-3 years of experience. KY bar license is required. Litigation experience is a plus. This is a great firm that offers their attorneys a meaningful work life balance, hybrid schedule and no billable hours.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Draft legal documents, formal discovery requests, formal discovery responses, notices, interrogatories, motions, memoranda, deposition summaries, medical record summaries, and letters.
  • Proofreading, Review, and Editing.
  • Prepare for, and attend, hearings and depositions.
  • Understand, summarize, and utilize medical records.
  • Preparation for trial. Create exhibit binders, trial notebooks, deposition summaries, motions in limine, and other documents necessary to conduct a trial to a jury or to the bench. Prepare for, and to conduct, voir dire, opening statements, direct and cross examination, and closing arguments.
  • Preparation for Final Hearings and Final Briefings. Conduct a final hearing in which testimony is elicited from one or more witnesses and must be able to draft and submit any required briefing related to those hearing.
  • The attorney may perform other similar or related duties which may not be specifically included within this position description, but which are consistent with the general level of the job and the responsibilities described.
  • Infrequent lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds.
  • All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time.
