Description
Trustpoint.One is helping our client find a Junior Litigation Paralegal to join their Chicago office.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal certificate from an ABA certified paralegal program
- At least 1 year of litigation experience
- Drafting routine correspondence and legal documents
- Collecting, organizing, and reviewing records
- Assisting with all phases of discovery and trial preparation
- Managing commercial litigation files from intake to settlement
- Strong understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM)
- Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with litigation support applications such as Relativity
- Exceptional computer and internet research skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly
- High degree of responsiveness and attention to detail
- Advanced written communication skills
NOTE:
- Salary is commensurate with industry knowledge and experience.
- All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time.
