Trustpoint.One is pleased to partner with a full-service regional law firm with offices in New Jersey and New York in its search for a Practice Group Administrator. This is a direct hire, hybrid role out of the firm’s New Jersey offices.
Primary duties of the Practice Group Administrator include but are not limited to:
- assisting in the practice group’s strategic initiatives and management of daily operations.
- fostering relationships with attorneys and staff members.
- checking on attorneys' capacity for new assignments.
- preparing reports on a regular basis to review billable time.
- analyzing equitable distribution of assignments.
- coordinating and holding meetings and organizing group events.
- assisting in attorney professional development through mentoring initiatives, staying on top of performance issues and addressing appropriate support, and liaising with HR on performance evaluations.
- engaging in client / business development initiatives.
The successful Practice Group Administrator will have:
- a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in law firm setting.
- ability to drive a project from start to finish.
- ability to spot and escalate issues as needed.
- natural ability to build relationships and gain trust.
- strong communication skills and self-initiative!
- ability to multi-task and prioritize competing tasks.
Salary Range: Starting at $100k, commensurate with experience; comprehensive benefits package.
